    3. To obtain an obit from newspaper find out County's main branch of library (usually on County page) http://www.pagenweb.org/ -This is Pa's site find county then follow to library. Most of the time they list instructions on how to obtain obits. I include as much statistical info. on deceased I have (Name, DOB, spouse, address, death) you need to include date of death. Enclose a SASE and a check for $1 per requested obit. Phila. I know takes about a week, Pottsville (Schuylkill Co.) takes approx. a month but they may add a little more then just obit. Refunds are given back if not found. Here are Philadelphia and Schuylkill Co. addresses: Pottsville Free Library Free Library of Phila.
