Does anyone know how I would go about finding a death date or an obit for a person when all I have is their name, where they lived and know it was between censuses. I just found a sister to my grandmother that noone seems to have known about (and my grandmother and all her siblings are now dead). She was listed in the 1920 Mahanoy City, Schuylkill County census being 4 yrs old and then was not in the 1930 census with the family so I'm assuming she died between 1920 and 1930. I am looking for the death date or Obit for Elizabeth Jakubonis or Yakubonis (it is sometimes spelled either way) who would have been born in 1916 and died between 1920 - 1930 in Mahanoy City, Schuylkill County, PA. I am living in TN now, 14 hours from Schuylkill County and very rarely make it back to PA so it's not possible for me to go to the Schuylkill County Courthouse. I didn't know if there are indexes or some other kind of records that I might be able to access online or though my local library or if there might possibly be someone who does lookups that might have access to such information.
