I have no further information on the following. The Debtor and Workingman Friday - March 29, 1895 Mrs. McCormick Dead. Mrs. L.D. McCORMICK who has been sick for a long time died on Wednesday at 3 P.M., at her home 3 1/2 miles east of this palce, she was born in Fayette Co., Pa., joined the M.E. church when she was 12 years old and has lived a consistent christian life ever since. Married Nelson McCORMICK at the age of 18, moved to Iowa in 1847, lived there 10 years and moved to Kansas in 1857 and settled on the farm where she lived till death claimed here as his own. She was the mother of 9 children, all by her first husband. She lived a widow about 20 years when she married, L.D. McCormick, who died 2 years ago. C.G. McCormick, Mrs. M.J. Hedges, Mrs. Sam Hoover, Mrs. Silas Robinson, Mrs. C.C. Robinson and a son in Colorado, the six living children. She was 75 years of age, a loving Mother and a true friend to everybody. Funeral at 10 o'clock, interment in Highland cemetery today.
