Hello List, I have new information since posting on February 24th. The three children who I believed died on the same day of February 28, 1898, Alfred, Elizabeth and Leah Jones, died on different dates. I believe they are the children of Thomas H. and Rachel Jones. According to the City of Scranton Death Index, February 28, 1898 was the date they were removed from Washburn Street Cemetery and reburied to Dunmore Cemetery. They are actually buried in Thomas H. Jones section of the cemetery. Elizabeth Jones - died March 14, 1871 Alfred T. Jones - died March 18, 1872 Leah Jones - died March 10, 1873 It seems a coincidence they all died in March. I am still looking for cause of death. It did not appear in the Death Index. If a search is tried in the Scranton newspapers, the correct dates are above. Thank you to all who have responded.
