Mr Bortz had been a life-long resident of the farm upon which he was born 8 (as printed in paper) years ago, a son of Peter and Hettie ROWE BORTZ. Mr Bortz was a member of the Poke Run Church. Mr Bortz leaves his wife, Nannie E. Bortz and eight children, Roy D., McKeesport; Edith, Irene, and Orville BORTZ, all of New Kensington; George R, at home; Mrs Vella McCRACKEN, Apollo; Mrs Maude MASTERS, McKeesport, and Mrs Pauline SHAFFER, Salina; one sister, Mrs J. L. KUHNS, Apollo, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the home at 2:30 p.m. Sunday by Rev Marshall D Berryhill, pastor of the Poke Run Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in St James' Cemetery near Perrysville. Donald WINESKI infant son of Stanley and Anna COCOVICH WINESKI, of Iselin, died in Indiana Hospital at 3 a.m. Thursday. He was born August 31, 1935. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Iselin by Rev S. A. Gawronsky. Interment will be in Iselin Union Cemetery. David Nathan TOTTEN aged 61, died in his home in Banks Township, near Smithport, at 1:20 p.m. Thursday. He was a retired farmer and had been a life-long resident of that community. He was a member of the Knights of Ppthias (sp. Pythias). He leaves three children, Leora, at home; James, of Arcadia, and Leonard, of Glen Campbell R.D. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the family home by Rev Rex Brickell, of the Wesleyan Methodist Church. Interment will be in Frye Cemetery. --------------------------
