Indiana Evening Gazette, Friday July 31, 1936 ---------------------------------------- Mrs. Margaret Agnes EWING Margaret Agnes Ewing, aged 90 years, died Thursday, July 23, at the family home, Livermore, R.D.1, at 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Ewing was born in Conemaugh Township on August 8, 1846, a daughter of the late Samuel MARSHALL and Nancy JOHNSTON Marshall. She was the oldest member of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Ewing is survived by these children: Cora Ella Ewing, Mrs Rhetta MATSON, and Robert Nelson Ewing all at home; and John W Ewing of Jeanette. One brother, David L. Marshall of Livermore, R.D.2 and seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were held at her late home Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, in charge of the Rev. R.M. Offutt. Burial was made in Lewisville Cemetery. ------- Michael John FLYNN Spanish-American War Veterans from the Metzger Post, Latrobe, Wednesday morning conducted the organization's funeral service for their comrade, Michael John Flynn, who died at his home here Sunday. The Latrobe Post sent a firing squad of eight men to Blairsville to conduct the service at the SS Simon and Jude Cemetery after Requiem High Mass had been said at the SS Simon and Jude Church at 9 a.m. Wednesday. ------ Death notices and Not Dead Notices Henry TERRY Mr and Mrs William RAMSDEN of near town were called to Braeburn Sunday, due to the death of Mrs Ramsden's brother, Henry TERRY. Mr. Terry died of pneumonia contracted after a fall last week which resulted in a broken hip. Mrs. Mildred SUTTER, Mr and Mrs M.C. Ramsden, Mrs. Sylvia SHEPHERD, Ray and Jack Ramsden attended the funeral of their uncle, Mr. Terry, Tuesday afternoon. ----- Fred GADEMSKY Card of Thanks - We wish to thank our friends and neighbors for their many acts of kindness and sympathy shown us during our recent bereavement, the death of our husband and father, Fred Gademsky. ----- Irene DARGAY Irene Dargay, 6 year-old child from Clyde, was killed Monday evening when a car driven by John Warhole, overturned on a straight stretch of road on route 22. The child's parents and three other occupants of the car were injured. ----- NOT Dead Rumors circulating here Wednesday night stating that George Sowers and George Crist were killed in a truck wreck near New York were false (as Mr. Crist and Mr. Sowers will tell you).
