>From The News-Review, Roseburg, OR April 18, 2003, p. 16 Bert Kremer KREMER, Horace B., —Age 73, of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2003, at his home. He was born December 28, 2003, in Milton, Pennsylvania, son of Charles and Thelma (Krumbine) Kremer. He was raised and educated in Pennsylvania and entered the U.S. Army to serve our country. He went on to be a surgical technician and worked at the Roseburg V.A. Hospital for many years. He was a member of the Sunset Masonic Lodge in Drain and a member of the Winston V.F.W. Post 9744. He also attended the Dillard-Winston United Methodist Church in Dillard, Oregon. He is survived two daughters, Kathy Jo Gulan and her husband, Brad of San Jose, California and Pat Layton of Springfield, Oregon; three sons, Mike Simone of Roseburg; Bill Lue of Roseville, California; and Larry Kremer. Bert also has a brother, Al Kremer and his wife, Pat of Rice Hill, Oregon, as well as several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. at the Dillard-Winston United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations in Bert’s name be made to the Shriners Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of TAYLOR’S FAMILY CHAPEL in Winston, Oregon.
