The name of the newspaper from which the obits are transcribed is "The Indiana Evening Gazette" which is Indiana, Pennsylvania and Indiana County Pennsylvania..... which I why they are posted to the Pennsylvania Obit list. I've received several emails from people who have found them beneficial. I'm sorry if you do not. EVA I. KRAUSE JONES The Morning Call Mrs. Eva I. Krause Jones, 98, formerly of 1715 W. Union Blvd., Bethlehem, died Thursday, April 30, 1987, in Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. She was the widow of John G. Jones and William L. Krause. Born in Rittersville, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Lillie ( Clader) Moyer. She was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1933 Hanover Ave., Allentown. Surviving is a son, Alfred H. Krause of Allentown. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown. A calling hour will precede the services. Would some kind soul be able to look up the obituary of Eva's son, Alfred, for me? He died May 29, 2001 in Allentown. Any help will be much appreciated.

She was the oldest member of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Ewing is survived by these children: Cora Ella Ewing, Mrs Rhetta MATSON, and Robert Nelson Ewing all at home; and John W Ewing of Jeanette. One brother, David L. Marshall of Livermore, R.D.2 and seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were held at her late home Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, in charge of the Rev. R.M. Offutt. Burial was made in Lewisville Cemetery. ------- Michael John FLYNN Spanish-American War Veterans from the Metzger Post, Latrobe, Wednesday morning conducted the organization's funeral service for their comrade, Michael John Flynn, who died at his home here Sunday. A son of Elias and Jemima (Rupert) Rupert, the deceased was born June 10, 1869 and had always lived in the vicinity of his death. He was a member of Mt. Union Lutheran Church where services will be conducted at 10:45 a.m. Sabbath, in charge of the Rev. W. H. Brown. Interment will be in the church cemetery. C. E. Held. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana. -------- W. C. THOMAS Leaving 63 descendants, including two great-great-grandchildren, W. C. Thomas, 84, veterinary slregon (surgeon?) of Marion Center, died at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday on the farm on which he was born October 26, 1852. Death was attributed to complications following a sunstroke sustained last summer. Becoming of age Mr. Thomas purchased a part of the old Thomas farm of several hundred acres owned by his father, Hiram Thomas of Rayne township, near Marion Center. Besides being a stock raiser for many years he was the community's doctor of stock and his advice was considered highly among his friends and neighbors. He kept actively in his profession, driving his own car to attend to cases. Just a year ago he purchased a saddle horse, as the roads would not permit use of his automobile. His jolly nature and activity through life made him many friends. He raised a large family and gave them all a splendid start when they were ready to enter their own adult lives. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Thomas; a daughter, Mrs. Florence BURNHEIMER of Indiana; six sons: Charles S. Thomas of Home, Jesse E. Thomas of Tanoma, Harry H. Thomas of Glen Campbell, William M. Thomas of Marion Center, Ben W. Thomas of Marion Center, and Wess C. Thomas of Indiana, 29 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. I am looking for an obituary for Ella DONLEY who died in 1945. She is burried in Sunnyside Cemetery in Tunkhannock, Wyoming County PA. Her husband was John Donley, who died in 1941 and is also buried in the same cemetery. I am hoping to find information on her siblings and children.
