Hi Liz, I don't think this is the James I'm looking for. Henry and Anne Carson Gregg married 22 Oct 1818 Derry Twp. Westmoreland Co., Pa. My source is Westmoreland County Marriages & Deaths from Weekly Newspapers 1818-1865 Vol. 1 by Fischer, Gregg, Henry & Ann Carson both Derry Twp. married 10-22-1818 by John Shaw Esq. (10-31-1818). I thought it could be possible that Henry and Anne may had a child out of wedlock. Since I have access to the 1860 and 1870 census I just checked those and found this James and Mary in those census. Thank you for checking for me. I appreciate the time you put into this.
