Dear Liz (and others), You were kind enough to lookup this Samuel Rowlands in 1900 but I'm having trouble reconciling him to the 1870 census lookup Jennifer provided since his wife and eldest children left the scene in the intervening 30 years. I tried the 1880 census at Familysearch with no luck and was wondering if you have access to another source for that census to check on the whereabouts of Samuel and his wife Mary A. and son Evan along with what may or may not be his younger children Emma and William, in order to tie the family together over the years. There are about 76+ images for Mifflin that year, I had a little time last night to go page by page and found a William but haven't been able to finish yet.
