Hello Fred, BOYD, AARON (1860 U.S. Census) PENNSYLVANIA , CHESTER, NEWLIN TWP Age: 29, Male, Race: WHITE, Born: PA Series: M653 Roll: 1091 Page: 485 All born PA Aaron Boyd 29 Piler Margaret 27 Ida 6 Attended school Laura 5 Attended school Charles 3 Maryetta 1 From the image it appears he is a "Piler" in the Rolling Mill Many of the other HOH list their occupation with a ditto for the Rolling Mill or it could simply be a check mark.. ie. First HOH on page is a "Rooller in Rolling Mill" rest of HOH etc. Piler + Heater + Foreman + Farm Laborer+ Piler + Blacksmith + Helper + it would appear that the + sign could be a ditto but not sure. Another lister may be able to translate it better..
