Tyrone, In 1920 I found in 2-wd Minersville MARTIN, Joseph, Head, rents, Laborer in mine Avelda, wife, 30 Mrgaret, daughtr, 11 Robert, son, 10 Dorthy, daughter, 6 Charles, son 4 Elvin, son, 1 No other Martin in 2-wd Minersville Then in 1910 I found FORD, Helen Head, 49 widowed 16 children / 8 living, housekeeper SPOTTS, Henry, son, 20, laborer, coal mine Lizzie, daughter, 18, laborer, knitting factory Jonne, daughter, 14 George, son, 17, laborer, Co~~g FORD, Ruth, daughter, 8 MARTIN, Joseph C, son-in-lsw, 24, married 2 yrs, Laborer, coal mine Eva, daughter, 20, 2 children / 2 living Margaret, granddaughter, 1 8/12 Robert, grandson, 5/12 All born PA, PA, PA From this, I was able to detemine Joseph's name, age, place of birth and that both his parents were born PA, so I looked at all the MARTIN's in Schuylkill County in 1900 to find a Joseph, age 14 living with them, with no luck. Did he know Joseph's mother's name? We need to find Joseph in 1900 to hopefully find his parents. Do you know the names of his siblings? I did find one in 1900 with a Joseph age 12 in 2-wd Pottsville Boro MARTIN, Thomas, 46, b. PA, yard master, Railroad Annie, 44 Joseph, 12 Irene, 11 Thomas B, 6 Anna, 2 If you have names of your grandfathers, aunts and uncles, let us know. There are WAY TO MANY Martin's in PA to go through them all individually.
