In 1850, there is a Joseph Stone, b. Eng., in East Norwegian Twp, Schuylkill Co. He is 45, a miner. Wife is Mary, 42. Everyone is b. England except the last child, who is b. PA. In 1860, I see a 16 yr old Eliza Stone living with Samuel Thomas and his family in Bloom, Columbia Co (he is b. England and a blacksmith). In East Norwegian Twp., I see Mary Stone, 52, and with her are Elizabeth, 14, and son David, 7. According to the history book thier last child was born in 1846 and it says that prior to the birth of their last child they came to America and settled in East Norwegian Twsp. His wifes family came to Phila. so I'm assuming they did too. I would buy the Roll or what ever you call it, but I don't know how to find out when or which boat they they came from England on.
