In his orbituary it states he had "a daughter [living in] Pennsylvania" In August 1917 his wife, Margaret A.W. MC ADAM died in Provo, Utah. In one obituary it states she was survived by a daugther "Mary BROWN of Susquehanna, PA " and in another "Mrs. Harry BROWN of Susquehanna, Pa.". I am therefore looking for a Harry and Mary BROWN of Susquehanna. Would SKS be so kind as to check the 1910 and 1920 census for this couple. I know that Thomas and Margaret MCADAM had a daughter Mary Jane, born 11 July 1863, in Whitehaven, Cumberland, England. In August 1882 she married a Thomas BARNES (born 1861) in Whitehaven, England, but I don't know whether Tom BARNES passed away and Mary Jane remarried, or whether he simply changed his name after immigrating.
