Please look-up Thomas Bishop, head of family living in Philadelphia in the 1830 & 1840 Census. He would be 82 in 1830. He died in July of 1840. Thomas was probably listed as head of family, at least in 1830. If not, Thomas would be listed in the family of his son, Joaquim Bishop (age 24-27 in 1830) in both 1830 and 1840. In the 1820 US Census, Thomas Bishop and his family were in the Kensington area of Philadelphia. I have a census image of the family from the 1820 census. Bob George, Olympia, Washington
Hello all I have problem and was thinking someone on this site maybe able to find this for my. It is a newspaper clipping, I have the Well let me give you all I have on this and someone may no how to get this Photo and clipping. THE CAMBRIA DISPATCH, Friday, December 29, 1944, page 2 FRANCIS LUKOSAVICH RECIVES PROMOTION [ picture of Francis ] This is the photo I am looking for. FRANCIS J. LUKOSAVICH, 19, has been promoted from private to sargeant at the Eighth Air Force bomber station in England. One of five sons of JOSEPH LUKOSAVICH, Prospect Street, in military service, he has particiapted in numerous combat operations over Germany as a bomb release man on a Flying Fortress. Prior to entering the service in August, 1943, Sgt. Lukosavich was attending Portage Township High School. He is a member of the 384th Bombadment [as spelled] Group, a vetran [as spelled] unit on the European aerial front having more than 225 attacks against the enemy to its credit. This is all I have and would like the photo and clipping if there is a way. You see a month before he was comming his plane and the crew was MIA they made there bombing run and hit the target but never made it back to base. If anyone can help us we would be greatful. I now have a good enough grip on the KOOKER, WORTHINGTON, URIAN, and related groups, to know they are the ones I have been seeking. I have 1850 for Samuel KOOKER, 1870, 1880, and for the remnants of his family, 1900. I have the names of many of his children - but curiously, not the main one of all - the one who is the connection to my cousin. Also, I am interested in how the WORTHINGTON family ties in to KOOKER, and to which of Samuel's daughters it may be. It was the WORTHINGTON name that even enabled me to put together a picture of what was going on... Jesse WORTHINGTON was apparently already widowed, shortly after marriage. He had two KOOKERs listed (partly erroneously) as sister-in-law, and mother-in-law, though the census said he was single. It also said he had a daughter. But I guess some times they would list single instead of widowed. He is listed at the home of another Jesse WORTHINGTON in 1880, but, sadly, he is listed as nephew - or - likely not with his parents because of death, etc. So I am hoping someone can find the 1848 born Jesse of Bucks with his parents in 1870. Long-winded explanation? I know it. But this whole problem has been long-winded! He was born 1848 and died 1924... Thanks, Vince Summers

Amazing! My hat off to you. This was a very difficult one, based on the crazy spelling given! The name is undoubtedly KOOKER. Karen, is there any way you can send me this image?
