    1. Ernstena Koerner
    2. jan1940
    3. Could some kind person who has access to Ancestry do a census look-up for me? In some church record 1866 I found a Ernstena Koerner Three names down from my G-Grandfathers name She is not in his house in any of the census, she is not his wife or child. I was thinking she could be a sister who came from Germany. She must be listed in house of someone as house keeper or something It would be Carroll County Maryland or York County Pa. most likely Manheim TWP in York County. The page she is listed on, is names who took communion I found Koerner as Korner, Kerner, Kanner Would also like to find a Lizzie Kanner who married Reinhold Marshal may 23 1883 York County Pa I thank all for any help Nancy

    2. Ronald Rees
    3. Hello, Would someone please check the census for George Geary? He was probably born around 1856. His wife's name was Alice, and his son was Roy. She was born in Palo Alto in Schuylkill Co. and died in Jalappa, Pa. in 1910, so I think they lived around there. I could not find them in Family 1880. Thank You, Ron

    1. 1850 Northumberland CO BOWMAN
    2. jeanie stout
    3. I was thrown a bone last night. One I have been looking for a long time. This has been one of my brick walls. My ggg grandfather Ebenezer BOSTIAN in 1852 marries Mary Ann BOWMAN. In 1850 census she lives with JP SHINDEL family. I could not find her father or mother. Now I may have some thing to go on to find her family. If some one would please try to find a Sarah BOWMAN she was wife of a Samuel BOWMAN but he may be dead by 1850. Sarah BOWMAN died in 1854 leaving behind these children that are under the age of 14 Samuel , Elias, Sarah , Benneville So in 1850 they would be very young they may be with an Ira CLEMENT in 1850 or with the mother Sarah BOWMAN. This is my quest can some one try to find them in 1850 maybe Northumberland Co but could be in an area county. ORPHANS COURT RECORDS -BOOK 11 Page 175 . Date ; August, 19,1854 SARAH BOWMAN wife of late SAMUEL BOWMAN , of Jackson Twp. Guardianship to Ebenezer Bastian and IDA CLEMENT Samuel , Elias, Sarah , Benneville , all under the age of 14 . Had no luck finding Leonard in 1920, but found an L K GOODMAN, 29, (in Huntingdon Co) which I thought the K could be an R, with a wife Norah, 27 and children Dorothy, 4, Lester, 2 and Guy 9/12 and next family was Almanda GOODMAN, 62, widowed, with son, Paul, who was a plumber in his brother's shop and LK was a city plumber. So, I assumed that was wrong family since I found Leonard in other census. 1900 Clinton Co, Loganton Boro GOODMAN, Samuel, 46, b. 12/1853, married 23 yrs, laborer, logging, own free home Dora, 41, wife, 41, b. 12/1858, 5 children / 3 living Fred M, 14, b. 10/1885 Leonard R, 10, b. 5/1890 Alicia I, 2, b. 11/1897 All born PA, PA, PA and yes the months were indicated by numbers (I never ran across that before) 1910, same town GOODMAN, Samuel F, 56, off jobs, own free home Dora J, 52 Fred M, 24, Railroad Leonard R, 20, Bookkeeper, ~~ Co Elitia I, 12 In 1920, I found this in Erie Co, 2-wd Erie (I seen a post for Nagle) NAGLE, Edward H, head, 37, cashier, Railroad Office Mary E, wife 40 Paul, son, 14 MaDora, daughter, 12 Murtta, duaghter, 23, clerk, Railroad Office GOODMAN, Samuel, father in law, 65, widowed, Laborer, metal works So, if this is your family, Leonard is about 5 yrs younger. 3. OK, further on that 1900 census: the index entry I found was for Mary: Name: Mary Dempsey Home in 1900: Gloucester Ward 1, Camden, New Jersey Age: 9 Estimated birth year: 1891 Birthplace: New York Race: White Relationship to head-of-house: Daughter Occupation: View Image Image source: Year: 1900; Census Place: Gloucester Ward 1, Camden, New Jersey; Roll: T623 959; Page: 19A; Enumeration District: 97. specifics: John Dempsey b. 7/1846, in PA Elizabeth, b. 5/1870, in Ireland Mary, b. 4/1891, NY Margaret, b. 6/1896, in NJ living on Burlington St. In 1910, the only thing I find is a Margaret, of the right age (14), a servant, but she is listed as b. PA; cannot find Mary (probably married, she'd be 19), cannot find parents, cannot find an Anthony/Tony born in that time frame; in 1920 I found a Margaret Carswell married to a John D. Carswell in NJ, with some children but no Anthony In 1920 I find a 23 yr old Anthony in the Navy, but he lists father b. Ireland, mother Eng, place of residence Baltimore.... I also searched for a Tony.....I just can't seem to find an Anthony that would have been born around 1896-1905 other than the one in the navy listed above...I searched for Anthony country-wide... -----Original Message----- From: Vincent E.
