Ron: I find Roy Geary in 1920 at the State Mental Hospital in Norristown. I do not find George. I found a George Geary in 1920 with a wife named Margaret, age 65. Is it possible that he remarried? It is in Pottsville. Lucy
Ron: What did the headstone say about George's death date? I'm still looking... Lucy

Hello Bill, Sorry, found nothing in SC. Did find a Harry Stine 24, single, boarder with a Mills family in GA STINE HARRY 25 M W GA CALHOUN ARLINGTON1900 Although index says born GA, the birthplaces are crossed out from Unk to "AT"?? and there is an emigration date of 1890/9 so appears he wasn't born PA. Also found a Harry W. Stine,30, in PA 1900, near Harrisburg, however married to a Laura for 8 years no children, and still in same area in 1910. Perhaps another lister will be of better help.. Thanks for the info, Karen. I have to say (and I'm patting myself on the back now!) that none of the other lists of which I've been a member are as laid back as ours. As far as I'm concerned, anything that aids in our gen. research, even if it's not specific to the PA census, is welcome (just make sure a proper subject line is given so list members don't get confused). Your volunteer services are a great asset to our list and we greatly appreciate your efforts! I've had a couple of census volunteers contact me privately on this issue so I figured I post it so everyone could see it. I think you need to lighten up a little bit, as many of the other subscribers to your list do. And YES it is accurate, I found, copied and pasted that info DIRECTLY FROM THE ANCESTRYPLUS site, something I have had access to ever since I subscribed to Ancestry.com years ago. So if you want to throw me off the list go ahead. I will email everyone privately and tell them what happened. ----- Original Message ----- From: JYoung6180@aol.com To: dustbunny55@comcast.net Sent: Friday, September 02, 2005 7:47 PM Subject: Re: {not a subscriber} No more AncestryPlus In a message dated 9/2/2005 7:39:54 PM Eastern Standard Time, dustbunny55@comcast.net writes: For those of us who helped people look up census records and went that extra step by looking up the Directories on AncestryPlus - this is no longer available to those of us who had an Ancestry.com subscription - just another thing they want us to pay for. Just want everyone to know who couldn't get into it the past couple of days. Karen Karen- Your message didn't come through on PAPHILAD because you are not currently subscribed to that list--however, I think you should know that your information isn't accurate and doesn't belong on the list anyway. AncestryPlus which had been provided to libraries and other institutions was based upon a partnership between Ancestry.com and The GaleGroup. It wasn't part of your regular Ancestry subscription--it was a special service to libraries, Family History Centers, GenSocs, etc. All that has happened currently is that Ancestry has changed partnerships in providing their extra services to these organizations in that they no longer are partnering with The GaleGroup but rather with ProQuest--same type of service with the same type of subscription--just a different partner providing the service. Please see that you are giving out accurate information--it doesn't pay to be spreading rumors and untruths. Thanks! Hi, Could someone please check on the family of Samuel Reppert b.? and wife Eva Maria (Summers) b. 1801 in Montgomery Co. Pa. Her sister was born in Bucks County. She is the sister of my ggggrandmother. I know nothing of them or their family. I figured 1850 would be the first Census she would have been listed in, even though she would have been about 49 then. Hello I am hoping some one could please look this one up for me. Can you please send all the data you see on the image if you find it for this family . I am seeking a George GOSSARD born in PA he would be about 10 years old in 1860. I have no data on who his parents would be or his siblings. I am hoping to find him so I can find who his brothers were. In 1900 George Gossard lives near a 16 year old neice by the name of Bessie GOSSARD in IL. Bessie father is not in the area. Bessie is born in IL as her cousin Daisy Stocking was, who is George Gossards daughter . George has one daughter Emma born in PA age 21 on 1880. A son John age 10 born in IL in 1880. A son William age 4 in 1880. Daisy in 1880 is 2 years old. In 1880 George wife is Mary age 38 born in PA but I think it may be a second wife? I guess Cambria Co because their are other Gossards in the area but the name Gossard might be misspelled in 1860 census ? Thats why I am consulting the pro's. Thank you for any thing you can find.
