The only information I have to go on is his wife, Theresa KAHN, born 1903 in Pittsburgh. They "should've" gotten married before 1930. Hopefully one of our wonderful PA-CENSUS kind souls will find something on him. Thanks, ~ George / Pgh ==== PA-CENSUS-LOOKUP Mailing List ==== #9) Don't forget your manners! Hi, I am trying to nail down the first generation WOLFENDEN who married Mary DAVIS. He was born in England, and was named, I believe, James. After James' death, Mary married a WALLACE, and is buried in New Jersey, with her son-in-law and daughter, the ZEISWEISS family. Mr. WOLFENDEN and Mary's daughter was named Ida WOLFENDEN, but may even have been Mary Ida WOLFENDEN - I am assuming the Mary part, but that seems to pass down. Ida was born August 23, 1861, apparently in Manayunk. Was the couple together in 1860? In time for the census? I don't know. I guess it is a good chance. I am hoping they were. Thanks for a lookup for these ones... Vince Summers
Thanks to both Gail and Jennifer for your help.... your info makes things much clearer for me.... namely, that I am NOT descended from the Walker family like I had originally thought.... Scott and Nancy's marriage was a second for both of them, and she had NO children! And I had forgotten about Scott's oldest son, William. Now I also now know that his siblings were full, not half. I do believe that you have found the right Chapmans!
