    1. 1840 Thomas DAVIS Nether Province, Delaware County
    2. Vincent E. Summers
    3. Thomas DAVIS turns out to have been the father to Susanna DAVIS, the two being the parents of Mary Davis Wolfenden WALLACE. Now Thomas & Susanna had, for all their children that I am aware of: Susanna b 1832-1833 Robert b 1835-1836 John b 1838-1839 Mary b Oct 1839 (maybe a twin) Elizabeth b 1841-1842 Ellen b 1843-1844 Sarah b 1845-1846 Emma b 1849-1850 This guy didn't miss a chance to have kids! But what I am thinking is - none were named Thomas. That is, none were named Thomas, unless one was born before 1832, in all likelihood. If born before 1832, he would quite possibly have moved out by the 1850 census, and so would not appear. I find no Thomas in the 1850! The 1840 would only show numbers, but that could be very revealing. No image necessary on this one! Thanks, Vince Summers
