SHILLITO, OLIVE, SCOTT, FOURNIER, WALSH J. Lee SHILLITO, of McKeesport, a graduate of the Hickory High school and a son of Mr. and Mrs. O. B. SHILLITO, of Hickory, died in the Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown, Maryland, Thursday night at 9:40 o'clock, of injuries received when the propeller of his airplane struck him earlier in the evening. SHILLITO, who was a demonstrator-pilot and chief of the sales force for the Sullivan Aircraft Sales company, of McKeesport, had gone to Hagerstown Monday to secure a new plane, which his company had purchased at a Hagerstown factory. He was preparing to leave for Pittsburgh when the accident occurred. In some way he walked into the whirling propeller and was struck by its blades. He was rushed to the hospital immediately, but death followed in a few hours. The accident occurred about 6 p.m. The young man had just returned from a business trip in the plane to New York and Philadelphia, and was about to take off for McKeesport He was 23 years of age, having been born February 15, 1905, at Hookstown. He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant United Presbyterian church of Hickory, and of the class of 1923 of the Hickory High school. He was married November 13, 1925, to Miss Hazel LEWIS of Canonsburg, who survives with one small daughter, Barba Lee. (sic) He also leaves his parents and two sisters, Mrs. Grant BOAK of Greenville, and Ruth, of Hickory. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, eastern standard time, in the Mt. Pleasant United Presbyterian church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev Charles STUNKARD, assisted by the Rev. Joseph S. MORLEDGE, pastor of the Mt. Prospect Presbyterian church. Frederick J. OLIVE, representative of various insurance companies, died Wednesday in his home 711 East End avenue, Pittsburgh. He was a member of Odd Fellows Lodge No. 1037, Knights of Pythias No. 212, and the Sixth Presbyterian church. Mr. OLIVE was a director of the Wayside Inn Odd Fellows' Home at Grove City. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Catherine Olive, a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor EDSTROM, and three sisters, Mrs. Minnie WATTERS of Oakdale, Mrs. Carrie HUGHES of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Louis A. SCHOLL of Crafton. Robert SCOTT, aged 89, died Sunday evening, September 16, 1928, at 9 o'clock, in the home of his daughter, Mrs. James R. BELL of Florence. Mr. SCOTT was one of the oldest residents of Florence and had been in the mercantile business in Florence for about 40 years. Two daughters survive, Mrs. James R. BELL, of Florence, and Mrs. Robert F. LINN of Beaver, besides two sons, Charles B. SCOTT and John M. SCOTT of Burgettstown. Funeral services were held in the Florence Presbyterian church Tuesday afternoon, September 18, at 2 o'clock. Interment was in the Florence cemetery. Emile FOURNIER, aged 58 years of Kankakee, Ill., died very suddenly Monday morning, September 17, 1928 at eight o'clock at the home of his cousins, Mr. and Mrs. N. LIENARD of Center avenue, McDonald. Death was due to heart trouble. Mr. and Mrs. FOURNIER accompanied by four others had motored from Kankakee, arriving at the LIENARD hoe Sunday afternoon where they had expected to spend a few days. Death came as a shock just as he was preparing to arise. The body was taken to the ROGERS undertakers' room and prepared and shipped to his home on Monday evening. The deceased was a member of St. Rose Catholic church in Kankakee, Ill. He is survived by his widow, three sons and three daughters, all at home. Mr. FOURNIER is well known among the French people of this locality. Peter W. WALSH, aged 62, died in the Southside hospital, Pittsburgh, Tuesday morning, September 18, at 3:50 o'clock. About 11:30 o'clock Mr. WALSH was lowering a window on the second floor of his home on Southside when in some unknown way he fell through the window to the street. He was rushed to the hospital, where he died a few hours later with a fractured skull. Mr. WALSH was well known here, having resided her for a number of years. Seven years ago, he started to work for the Jones & Laughlin Steele Co. of Pittsburgh, and has since been in their employ. Besides his wife, Mrs. Phoebe MARTIN WALSH, who makes her home with her daughter, Mrs. Charles LAND of Library, three brothers and two sisters survive. They are: John H. WALSH of Harford, Conn., James and Joseph WALSH of Marietta, O., Miss Anna WALSH of Marietta, O., Mrs. Thomas HOLLERAN of the south side McDonald. A daughter, Mrs. Charles LAND and seven grand children also survive. The body was brought to the home of Mrs. Thomas HOLLERAN on Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services will be held in the St. Alphonsus church tomorrow morning, in charge of the Rev. Fr. Joseph A. BURGOON. Interment will be in the Noblestown cemetery.
