BERRYHILL, MACKLEY, SPURRIER, HASKINS, BEHLING Following a period of failing health incidental to advanced age, Thomas Marshall BERRYHILL, aged 94, died at his home in Hickory last Thursday night. Up until several weeks ago Mr. BERRYHILL had been able to be about the house and was only compelled to take his bed following a fall in his room from which he sustained minor injuries. The deceased, who was active in local church and community interests, was a member of the board of directors of the Farmers National Bank, and at the time of his death was serving in the capacity of vice president. For 70 years he was ruling elder in the Mt. Pleasant United Presbyterian church here. Mr. BERRYHILL was born in Smith Township on September 19, 1834, moving to Hickory in 1849 where he spent the greater part of his life. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. R. A. RUSSELL, Washington; Mrs. H. A. SMITH, Portland, Ore.; Miss Lou A. BERRYHILL and C. M. BERRYHILL of Hickory; and Dr. W. G. BERRYHILL of Orangeville, Pa. Nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at three o'clock from the Mt. Prospect United Presbyterian church in charge of Rev. Charles STUNKARD. Interment was in the cemetery of the church. Word was received here last week of the death of Louis MACKLEY of Grove City, formerly of here, after a lingering illness of several years. James M. SPURRIER 61, died at his home in Beltzhoover Monday, September 10. He is survived by his wife and seven children. Funeral services were held yesterday at two o'clock, at his late home, with interment in South Side cemetery. Mrs. Richard STEMLER of Liberty street is a brother-in-law of Mr. SPURRIER. Mr. H. A. HASKINS died Thursday morning, September 13, 1928, at 6:45 o'clock, following an illness due to heart trouble. Mr. HASKING had been visiting for the past two weeks with his daughter, Mrs. Alphonse VOYE in Crafton, and had been in his usual health until two days ago. Mr. HASKINS, aged 79 years, was born in Friendship, N. Y., on February 13th, 1849. Mr. HASKINS was a resident of McDonald for several years, living on Station street, and was well known here. He is survived by five children, Clara, wife of Alphonse VOYE of Crafton, Myrtle, wife of William CARLISLE of Washington; Cyril HASKINS, of Bridgeville; Harry HASKINS, of Coraopolis, and Leo HASKINS of Pittsburgh. Funeral services will be held from St. Philip's church, Crafton, on Saturday morning, September 15th, the time to be announced later. Albert William BEHLING, aged 64, died at his home on North McDonald street this morning at 10:30 o'clock. Death was due to complications. Mr. BEHLING was born in Germany December 8, 1863. He moved to this country when three years of age and made his home in Northside, Pittsburgh. He later removed to McDonald, where he has lived for several years. Mr. BEHLING was a member of the First United Presbyterian church of McDonald. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha BEHLING; one son, John, of McDonald; and one granddaughter, Helen BEHLING; one brother, John, of New Philadelphia, O.; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary SHEARER and Mrs. Adam COCHRA of McDonald. Funeral services will be held from this late home on North McDonald street on Saturday afternoon at two thirty o'clock, with the Rev. S. A. MCCOLLAM officiating. Interment will be in the Robinson's Run cemetery.
