PALMER, LOVE, BOXMEYER, MEREDITH Thursday morning of last week, Harry PALMER a 12 (13?) year-old colored boy, had his neck broken by a falling tree near Hickory. When the tree was ready to fall the men chopping it called to the boy to run. He became excited, and running in the wrong direction was struck by the tree. He lived about twenty-four hours after he was hurt, suffering greatly and going into spasms frequently. His mother lived at Carnegie where the _____ ____ was taken for interment. On the 22d inst., Harry, 8-months old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. LOVE, who liven in the SPRINGER place south of town. Interment at Candor. On the 22d inst, of congestion of the bowels, at his home on East Lincoln avenue, Mr. BOXMEYER, aged 25 years. Deceased leaves a wife and one child. He was a boilermaker for W. P. REND. On the 23d inst., at the home of Mr. NEWTON, Robb Valley, John MEREDITH, aged 80 years.
