Scar on Finger May Reveal Identity of Wanted Slayers By a scar on the finger of a robbery suspect, Pittsburgh police hope to establish identity of the principals in the torture slaying a year ago of an aged Champion Hill couple. The mutilated bodies of Frank and Katherine KUSCHULAK, both 70, were found by neighbors in their Champion Hill home on March 17, 1933, and a search for their slayers has been in progress ever since. Two men, who described themselves as Kost OSTASTENSKY and Alex ZUGAR, former Noblestown residents, were arrested in a rooming house one night last week. Police said they had had the two under surveillance for months. Several days after the KUSCHULAK slayings, Nickoden WOJCIECK, and his wife were attacked similarly by two men, but a boarder surprised the robbers and in a tussle bit one of them on the finger. Police say they believe the attackers of the WOJCIECKs were the same men who killed the couple after torturing them in an attempt to learn the whereabouts of valuables. They say one of OSTASTENSKY's fingers bears a scar similar to that which the boarder's bite would have caused.
