That is to say: First, after all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, the residue of my estate, real and personal I give, bequeath and dispose of as follows: To wit., To my sons John A. and Joseph, all my land belonging or joining the tract upon which I now reside by lying on the east bank of Saline River in the county of, Drew and State of Arkansas, also two beds and bedding belonging to the same. To my son James G., forty acres of land lying in the northern part of section Eleven Township Fifteen, south of Range Nine west. To my niece Sarah Franklin, one bed and bedding belonging to the same. To the heirs of William Ozment, Elizabeth Cornish, John A, James G. Ozment and Robert C. Ozment one trunk of ??? (coins and ???) The residue of my estate, both real and personal to be sold and the proceeds to be divided equally between all my children or their heirs. Likewise, I make, constitute and appoint my son, John A. Ozment, to be my executor of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal the 19th day of September in the year of Christ one thousand eight hundred and sixty one. James OZMENT The within instrument was subscribed by the said James Ozment in our presence and acknowledged by him to each of us and he at the same time published and declared the within instrument so subscribed to be his last will and testament and at the testators request and in his presence have signed our names as witnesses hereto and written opposite our names, our respective places of residence.
