Hi,Cousins: Re: Ozment Notes/Talbot County Message #1, Vol. 99 : Issue 21 (1 Nov 1999) I have Priscilla Ozment (married Joseph Spence, May 10, 1814) in my database and list her mother as Lydia Ozment (Maryland Marriage Clues, page 56). Father unknown. The 1800 census, Talbot Co., MD, M-32, Roll 12, page 72 reflects Lydia Ozment as "Head of Household" with 2 females "under 10" that would have been about "right age" to marry in 1814. Could one of these possibly be daughter Priscilla? Also, interesting to note on same page 72 are listed Thomas Ozment and Samuel Bowman. Possible connections to Thomas Ozment and Sarah Bowman noted in Frank's inquiry?? I have a Sarah Ellen Ozment (b. 1817, MD: d.before Mar. 14, 1899, Easton, Talbot Co.,MD). Married 30 Nov 1837, Talbot Co.,MD to Thomas "J". Clark. Parents of Sarah were Jonathan and Lucy (Bromwell) Ozment, both from Talbot Co. Are these the same folks Frank found in "Talbot County Marriages, 1840-1867"???Source is OLD MARYLAND FAMILIES (an article by Henrietta Bromwell from MD Historical Society).
