Rebecca I am trying to find my half-brother Carlton OZMENT, son of Arnold Wesley OZMENT and Melva Berry WEAVER. Carlton/Carl would have been born between 1927 and 1929, possibly in OH or IL. He apparently served in the U.S Army during WWII, but have not been able to obtain records in name of Carlton Ozment. His father (also mine) was born in Greensboro, Guilford Co.,NC. His mother, Melva, was from PA. They divorced in PA soon after Carlton's birth. Carlton married Loretta UNKNOWN. Is it possible that Vince Carl OZMENT was the veteran your mother knew in the VA ? I just returned to the OZMENT website after being offline while moving my residence. When I read the messages, V01-#38 and #39, I thought I had better inquire just in case there was a connection.
