I am looking for information regarding parentage and siblings of William Osment. He was born in 1812 or 1813 in NC, possibly in the area which later became part of TN. He married Elizabeth (?) from SC. Their first child, Nathan, was born in SC. Other children (all born in Bradley Co., TN) include Joseph S., Mary E., Rebecca, Lucinda C., John W., Thomas A., Martha J., and Sarah C., nine children altogether. I descend from Joseph S. Osment and wife Mary "Polly" (Hawkins). I have information on the descendants of Joseph and Mary and am glad to share. regards, Darby
