My grandmother was Lucinda Ozment who went to Il. where she married Orange Giles Andrews in 1874 at Mendota. Her father, Charles Bland Ozment and mother, Martha C. Ward, were both born in TN. Lucinda came to Il. to live with a cousin who was Emeline Wright Clark, the daughter of Richard and Lucinda Ozment Wright. Emeline married H. Ross Clark of Mendota, Il. in 1865 at Nashville. Lucinda Ozment Wright was a sibling of Charles, Daniel, Francis Newton and Vashti Ozment, all children fof (James) Thomas and Mary (Polly) Bland Ozment. Charles and Martha were in Wilson Coounty in 1850 and in Rutherford in 1860 where early maps show then in the far NW corner of the county where Rutherford, Davidson and Wilson meet.
