David Anderson Ozment b:19 OCT 1817 Guilford Co NC, married 1841 in Bedford Co TN Sarah Francis Battie, b:1824 Bedford Co. They had five children in Bedford and moved to Graves Co KY in 1859. Sarah died of consumption AUG 1870. David and the kids moved back to Bedford Co, where he married a widow, Mrs NJ Webb, on 2 JUL 1871. I'm not sure if NJ are her initials, or those of her Webb husband. In 1877 David moved back to KY with his youngest children, and died in Graves Co KY in 1880-- maybe the result of all that moving around. His Webb wife is not mentioned in his obituary which states, "David Anderson Ozment born 19 OCT 1817 in Guilford Co NC, while very young moved with his parents to Middle Tennessee." Children of David Anderson Ozment + Sarah Francis Battie who may have stayed behind in Bedford Co TN would be Amanda Ozment b:1841/2 and Rebecca Ozment b:1843/4. Children who remained in Graves Co KY are Emma b:1855, Louis b:1857 who moved to Bladgett MO in 1881, and Volitin, Volny, b:1860 who "invented an x-ray machine" in 1896 (!?) and was on his way to the Spanish-American War in 1898.
