Submitted by John Alan Ozment ________________________________ BOOK B, PAGE 214 Recorded 5 Feb. 1847 PARISH OF ORLEANS STATE OF LOUISIANA Be it remembered that on the 3rd day of June A.D. 1844, I JOSHUA MARKS, of the Parish of West Feliciana and State aforesaid, have for valuable considerations to me in hand paid by JAMES OZMENT of the COUNTY OF BRADLEY and STATE OF ARKANSAS, transferred, relinquished and forever quitclaim to all my rights, title, and interest in and to a certain tract of land situated and lying and being in said county of Bradley and State last aforesaid, known and described as follows: to wit the northwest fractional quarter of fractional Section number 5, twp. number 19 South, number nine Range West, containing in all 165 acres, more or less, in the county and state aforesaid, to have and to hold unto the said JAMES OZMENT, his heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns forever, the tract above described with all and singular the improvements and appurtenances thereunto belonging, and in the full and peaceable enjoyment of the said tract of land and appurtenances thereunto belonging, I, the said JOSHUA MARKS, forever warrant and defend the said JAMES OZMENT, his heirs executors administrators, and assigns against all and every incumbrance which may be set up against said tract of land.
