Ozment 47 keeping hotel b. N.C. Sarah J. 27 housekeeping b. Alabama Jas. W. 18 clerk b. Tenn. John 16 b. Tenn. Bettie 9 b. Texas Eldridge 7 b. Texas Jefferson 5 b. Texas So, this has Sarah while the other one has Susan. I have not looked up any other later Cherokee County census. In the 1850 census it just list Varnum as 34 being a merchant born in N.C. and his son James 7 years of age born in Tenn. The John from above is not mentioned? Lon Martin
