Hello Everyone, I haven't seen where anyone else has answered Elizabeth yet (unless they've done it privately?) Think maybe I may be on to something here. Other than what I wrote yesterday, Andrew PITTS (from NC) was one of the sureties to John PAVEY's estate in 1814, Washington Co., IN. Also, one of the Admin. to his Estate (other than John Pavey's 2nd wife, Frances "Fannie" Martin Pavey) was William LINDLEY who was married to a Mary PITTS. The LINDLEYs were Quakers who had migrated from Orange Co, NC. The PITTS family it seems, was primarily from the Rowan/Guilford Co. area. I have been unable to locate the connection between Andrew and Mary Pitts Lindley. Unfortunately, I may have had it in my pre-computer crash of 1998. I have put out some new inquiries though. Is there anyone else that has come across any PITTS family before? Marsha
