After seeing one of John Alan Ozment's emails concerning the 1790 census, I was lucky to find it on the Guilford Co, NC website. There are indeed several OSBURNS very close to John OSMENT and living next to a couple of Sullavens. By looking at the numbers, they could very possibly be our OZMENTS. My question is this? Are we sure these are OZMENTS and not OSBURNS? There were other OSBURNS further down the list, two that I can remember were Daniel and Peter. Is the James OSBURN below one of our OZMENTS? Bear in mind that on an old county map in MD, the land owned by Martin W. Ozman was shown as being owned by Osborn. I don't recommend discarding the info.
