Film No. 0989339: William McGee to) Deed 371 acres Samuel Ozment Registered December 9th 1857 This Indenture made and Entered into this the fifth of November One Thousand Eight Hundred and fifty five Between William McGee of the one part and Samuel Ozment of the other part the former of the County of Dallas and State of Missouri the latter of the County of Hardeman and State of Tennessee for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred dollars to one paid by the said Ozment the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged - I have sold and conveyed and by these presents sell and convey to the following tract or parcel of land lying and being in the 16th Civil District of Hardeman County and State aforesaid on the waters of Piney Creek in Range One and Section Five and bounded as follows To Wit: Beginning at a hickory S. W. Corner of Entry No. 251 for 200 acres in the name of James P. Hollaway and same East 53 1/2 poles to a hickory - Thence South 42 poles to a stake - Ash White Oak and Birch pointers - Thence West 66 poles to a Stake Sugar Tree and Spanish Oak pointers - Thence South 9 poles to a Sugar Tree - Thence West 108 poles to a Stake - Thence South 57 poles to a Stake hickory and ash pointers - Thence West 88 poles to a Maple Hickory and Dogwood pointers at the branch - Thence with the meanders of said branch a North course to a Hickory Gum and White Oak pointers, a divisional line between King and McGee. Thence East 250 1/2 poles to a Stake - Thence South 28 poles to a Stake Post Oak and 2 Red Oak pointers - Thence East 16 poles to a Stake Red Oak and 2 Black Oak pointers - Thence South 138 poles to the Beginning. I hereby bond myself and legal representatives to warrant and defend the title to the said tract or parcel land to the said Samuel Ozment his heirs and assigns. The said tract or parcel containing by estimation three hundred and seventy one acres more or less. Excluding three acres and a half on which __________ Meeting House now stands. Neely Clerk of the County Court of said County Thomas Blair and William King the two subscribing witnesses to the foregoing deed who after being duly sworn depose and say that they are acquainted with Wm.
