He was the son of Jonathan Ozment and Sarah Neatherly and was born in Guilford Co, NC. I have not been able to figure out who the first John Ozment is. I don't have him as the son of Samuel and Mary, married to Polly Christian. He was married to an Elizabeth according to my census data, and appears to have been in White County, AR in 1860.
