Colleagues The next computer meeting of the Oxfordshire Family History Society will take place on Monday 6 February 2012. It will be held at the usual venue at Exeter Hall, Oxford Road, Kidlington, Oxford OX5 1AB. Doors open at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start. The meeting will feature a presentation by Malcolm Austen entitled "Computing (& Family History) on a memory stick with PortableApps". This is a method of carrying all of your favourite apps on a portable device and using them on any PC. More background information can be obtained from :- http://portableapps.com/ Malcolm Austen is the OFHS webmaster, a long-standing member of the executive committee and was involved in the founding of the society's computer group. He has spoken a computer meetings on many occasions, and appears to have lined-up a really interesting subject on which to talk on this occasion.
