Job's siblings are as follows (and those I've found on the 1911, he's not with them!) Amy (Job's mother) was married to Isaac Webb before my Great Grandfather and had 2 children 1 - Rose Webb, married James Hambridge. At Overseal, Leicestershire 1911 2 - Ann Webb - no information on her Then Job's siblings by his own father Edwin Grantham 3 - Hannah Maria, married Alban Root - can't find them in 1911 4 - Beatrice Jane, married Reuben Owen Unsworth. Caversham in 1911 (also has younger sister Lily visiting) 5 - William Edwin - died 1882 6 - John George (Jack) married Sarah Elizabeth Hoare on 2 separate barges 1911 7 - Mary Ann, married Thomas Hambridge - Mill Street, Banbury 1911 8 - James Samuel - died 1883 9 - Edwin Ira, married Eva Emily Adkins, at home (9 Factory Street) with mother Amy (listed as Edward) 1911 10 - Amy Caroline - died 1888 11 - Lily Elsie (see above) - listed as Elsie Ellie in 1911 12 - Job 13 - Edith Maud - Domestic Servant, 1911 To answer Lesley Heaney's reply, the J. G. Grantham listed as Head of Family/Separate Occupier of 9 Factory Street is #6 listed above, my Grandfathers older brother. It was common that many Boatmen had houses in Factory Street, Banbury, which was very close to the Wharf. Hi Neil, Alban Root is in the 1911 census at 5 Mill Street, Banbury. He's a butcher aged 44. Indexed on Ancestry as ROOF. Married 10 yrs. Hannah indexed as Henry and aged 30. Children: Amy 9, Liscy 5, Albian 6, Eady 3, and Willey 1. Best wishes, Jon
And in case you’re interested Neil, it appears that Alban’s family is indexed in 1891 on ancestry as ROOS. Jonathan 57, Esther 55, Alban 24, and James 15. In 1871 the family was indexed as KOOT but there has already been a correction added. Best wishes, Jon
