As we have just commemorated Remembrance Day, I thought it might be the right time to pose this request. My Mother Kathleen Florance Freeman ( nee Batts ) born 1914 in Taston, told us that when the Spelsbury Memorial Hall was formally opened in May 1921, the school children stood outside, holding letters that spelt, " Lest We Forget ".
