I am researching the first schoolmaster here at Kingston Bagpuize, one Richard Hill who was chosen by John Blandy and certified as a schoolmaster in June 1737. I cannot find the baptism or any other information regarding Richard HILL who was replaced by another master about 1758. I believe that this is his marriage at Kingston Bagpuize, then in Royal Berkshire. April 13th 1737. Richard HILL married Anne PEAD. It does not say but I have a feeling she was a widow. A Henry PEAD died and was buried in Kingston Bagpuize on 6th Jan 1733. I am assuming that he was probably Anne's first husband but of course he could have been related in another way. Someone seems to have found the baptism for me of Henry PEAD in Marcham 26-19-1694 but no baptism is showing except on FamilySearch for Richard Hill. Can someone help please?
