>From Jackson's Oxford Journal, Saturday, March 27, 1824; Issue 3700. On the 11th instant died, at Buckingham, Miss Julia ELLIS , late of Henley, the youngest daughter of the late Rev. W. ELLIS , Rector of Caversham, Bucks. Last week died, suddenly, at High Wycombe, at an advanced age, Mr. CRAFTS , attorney. A Petition was presented to the House of Commons, on Thursday se'nnight, by Mr. ASHHURST and MR. FANE , praying a repeal of the Assessed Taxes; signed by every Household in Thame, two only excepted. Saturday last Paul CASTLE , of Milton, higler, was convicted before Richard COX , Esq. Mayotr, in the mitigated penalty of 10 shillings and costs, for vending poultry out of the established market in this city.
