    3. All of the answers about checking interlibrary loans at your local library, even antiquarian bookdealers online (many are) or ABE or google books, all are worth a try. As a librarian, you can count on one of these to get you what you are looking for. Advanced google books even allows you to peruse contents and download. On a recent visit to the area I found a wonderful Old Books shop in Chipping Norton, and found a book on the history of a village, full of information on my husban's ancestors. Give all of these good tips from others a try.
