Hello Brad I learn something every day and that will be very useful in future. I achieved the same result by different means as I wanted the names as well. All the Headington marriage entries were pasted into a spreadsheet. Then I sorted each quarter on page numbers. There were a lot of wrong entries where Headington is mixed with Haslingden (Lancashire). What I am trying to do is to identify which churches etc are on which page. So that anyone having a GRO marriage and its reference will know where to look for the marriage. The GRO entered marriages in the following order. Marriages in Anglican Churches (in alphabetical order of place) Other marriages Register Office, RC, Non-conformist, etc (in no particular order) For instance 1st Quarter 1838 is almost complete less 87 which may be Iffley which I have not yet checked. Note the 84A entry, some have A,B,C etc pages? Why?
