    3. I'm hoping someone on the list is able to help, please. I've received a request from a lady in Australia to help find where a couple of her family are buried, we presume, in the Chipping Norton District. The couple were brother and sister, Cecil and Pamela HARRIS who both died in the Chipping Norton District in 1938. Pamela died during q1 aged 71, and Cecil a few months later during q2 aged 69. The lady who has asked for help is planning a visit to England in August and would dearly like to visit the grave. Regards, Don Knibbs

    3. Hi Don, I was visiting Chipping Norton Parish Church recently and the churchwarden told me that the CN museum has a transcript of the church's gravestones. I don't know from when or to when but it may be worth giving them a ring. I know there is an active Local History Group in Chippy but I don't know who leads it now (my contact there died recently) I'm sure the museum will. Best wishes David Gynes david.gynes@virgin.net OFHS member 239 On 12 May 2011, at 07:58, Don Knibbs wrote: > I'm hoping someone on the list is able to help, please.
