Hello again My grandfather George William Self served with the colours prior to 1892. In 1892 George was 24 years old. He was living at Stanton Harcourt in 1881 so he probably joined the Oxford & Bucks. As I cannot find him on the 1891 census I again assume he was abroad at the time. Can anyone suggest how I can find out more information on my Grandfathers early military carer. Richard Self
