    2. >From Jackson's Oxford Journal, Saturday, May 1, 1858; Issue 5479. DEDDINGTON. KICK FROM A HORSE. - On 17th ult. an accident of a serious nature happened to a boy at Horsey Farm, Dunstew, near this town. It appears that the boy was, with some of his companions, at play in the stable, rolling themselves in a scuttle behind the horses' heels, when one of the horses kicked a boy, named Thomas QUARTERMAN, on the forehead, causing a frightful wound. Medical aid was at once procured, but the boy is still lying in a precarious state, his life being despaired of.
