I have found reference to James COURTEEN of Abingdon, vintner who married Sarah PLEYDELL probably around the late 1600s. However, I can find no trace of the marriage or of James's baptism in the Abingdon parish records. I wonder if anyone can help with this or with any other facts about the family.
