    3. As Nivard says, George Robertson and an Ellen Stone had probably married in 1896. You'll find that an Ellen Stone, aged 28 and described as 'step-daughter', was living with George and Ellen Robertson in 1901. The younger Ellen probably married Frank Edward Auger in Bicester district in 1902 ( per FreeBMD) and Dorothy Eveline Auger was registered as being born in the same district towards the end of 1902. The evidence seems to indicate that Dorothy was the older Ellen's granddaughter from an earlier marriage.
