    1. [OXF] Wm. JEFFCOAT and Old PARR ( 1850 )
    2. >From Jackson's Oxford Journal, Saturday, June 1, 1850; Issue 5066. A GREAT CURIOSITY. - Mr. William JEFFCOAT , of Headington, has in his possession a half-penny of the reign of William III , which was found in the breeches pocket of old PARR after his decease. It is in capital preservation, and was struck A.D. 1700. The fact of its having formerly belonged to the Octogenarian is attested by a paper in which it was wrapped up, with its history described, written by his executor, in whose family it has remained until a very recent period.
