BRUNNER , ESQ., CORONER. - On Saturday last, May 25, at Barton near Headington, on view of the body of George COOPER , labourer, aged 63 years, whose death was caused by the following circumstances : - The deceased was at work in a stone-pit at Headington, undermining some stone, and when he had removed the bed about three feet, the mass of stone fell, and so crushed the deceased that he expired almost instantly. Verdict, "accidental death."
