Owen age 43 b SC; Emeline age 34 b AL; Mary age 13 b MS; Missouri Age 11 b MS; William age 7 b MS and Elizabeth age 1 b TX. This census was dated July 30, 1860 On the 1860 Census for Leon Co., TX, P. O. Frankville dated Oct 25, 1860 he is indexed as J. B. Owens age 35 SC; Emaline age 34 b MS; Mary 16 MS; Missouri 14 TX; William 7 MS; and Elizabeth 4 TX. On the 1870 census he had moved to Williamson Co., TX Post Oak Island and is indexed as John Owings 52 SC; Emoline age 43 AL; William age 17 MS; Elizabeth age 11 TX; Mary (Owings) Carell age 23 MS; James Carell age 7 TX and Wiley Carell age 3 TX. By the 1880 census for Medina Co., TX Emeline Owens is age 53 Widowed by AL both parents b NC, so John B. Owings died sometime after the 1870 census and before the 1880 census. Emeline moved on to Frio Co., TX where she died on June 3, 1892 and is buried in the Brummett Cemetery. Does anyone recognize this family and know who the parents were to this John B. Owings or knows Emeline's maiden name and where this family was in 1850 census.
